Daniel, who was born on Aug 17, 1969, in Lexington, Massachusetts, is the son of radiologist, Dr Paul Dratch and Elaine Soloway. His father was remarkable in his intellect, a Harvard graduate, and was considered a walking encyclopedia.

He additionally served as Captain in the US Army Reserve, Medical Corps from 1965 to 1971. Paul apparently was also a funny man. In fact, Daniel’s sister, Rachel once said with their father around, comedy was always in the air. According to the actress, her father was joyous about everything.

Unfortunately, Paul Dratch died at age 78 on Oct 5, 2017, in Lexington. He was battling acute myeloid leukemia. Talking about his education, Daniel went to Lexington High School.

Daniel is married to Mary Trahan. They tied the knot on July 7, 2017, in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and also has a son. His wife, Mary Trahan is from Lafayette, Louisiana. She is a UCLA graduate.
