Aidan Gallagher was born into a Jewish family, with his father Rob Gallagher, and mother Lauren Gallagher. His faith is rooted in Judaism which is mainly because his parents are also avid followers.

Gallagher comes from a mix of backgrounds, making his heritage really diverse. His dad, Rob Gallagher, has English, Scottish, Irish, Norwegian, and Swiss-German roots, with some Dutch background too. Aidan’s mom, Lauren Gallagher, is Ashkenazi Jewish, with ancestors from Russia, Romania, and Poland.
His family’s story is interesting too. His grandpa on his dad’s side, William Kneeland Gallagher, was an author and a Mormon missionary. Aidan’s paternal grandma has Swiss-German roots.
On his mom’s side, Aidan’s grandpa, Michael Spencer Rifkin, came from Russian Jewish roots, while his grandma, Anita Haimowitz, had ancestors from Romania and Poland.
