VH1 is announcing plans to debut T.I. and Tiny’s new reality show December 5 at 9 p.m.

The new series “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at T.I.’s most private moments as he is reunited with his wife, Tameka (a.k.a Tiny), and his children following a 12 month prison sentence.

The new series follows the King of the South re-acclimating back into his life as a father, husband, son, musician, actor and best-selling author.For the first time, fans will get an inside look at T.I.’s children including his eldest son, Domani who’ll perform in front of a crowd of 3,000 at the Scream Tour.

“Tameka and I have a strong, loving family,” said T.I. “In this family documentary, you will see the challenges of raising children while balancing a career. It’s like a lot of families, only our home is in the spotlight.”

Viewers also are introduced to the OMG GIRLZ, Tiny’s teen singing group, and will see the loving relationship between Mr. and Mrs. Clifford “T.I.” Harris.

T.I. stepped off a motor coach bus Wednesday evening to start serving the rest of his time in a halfway house for a probation violation and he already has a new book deal and TV reality show waiting for him.

According to Sandra Rose, T.I. will serve out the remaining 30 days of his 11 month sentence at the same halfway house he moved into following his previous prison stint in 2009. The halfway house is within walking distance of the Fulton County Airport, aka Charlie Brown airport. According to a former resident of the halfway house, the facility houses about 120 male inmates and 20 females.

VH1 said Wednesday that the network will film T.I.’s journey home from jail and debut the show in December. MTV aired a similar reality show on the rapper in 2009 called “T.I.’s Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go,” which chronicled his attempts to help others avoid his mistakes.

T.I. has also finalized a book deal. A representative from HarperCollins told The Associated Press that T.I. has written a book called “Power & Beauty” that’s set to be released in October. The novel, which was co-written with David Ritz, is a fictional tale about two childhood friends torn apart by dangerous dealings on the streets of Atlanta.

I guess this aired before or after the VH1 Hip Hop Honors show last night. I dunno. Take a look at this misguided fellow’s life, via VH1.

Didn’t even realize this til now, but VH1 apparently nominated the recently re-launched HHU for the best Hip Hop Site/Blog for Hip Hop Honors. Shout to them.
