J. Cole – Villematic
Cole just dropped this song off at his blog, along with the news of possibly putting out a new mixtape soon. He murders Kanye’s “Devil In A Dress” instrumental, my only complaint on this music we have been hearing lately, more so from Kanye, the vocals. (Turn them things up! lol)

J.Cole Performs “Blow Up” at Highline Ballroom NYC
J.Cole showed up last night to perform his new track, “Blow Up,” to a sold out crowd at the Highline Ballroom. Great surprise for everyone at Wale’s show. You can download this track here. Big thanks to Mike R. Shout to Nick, Mike, Justin.
J.Cole Speaks on Pressure, Album
J.Cole stops by Chicago’s Power 92 to speak on the pressures of working under Jay-Z, producing his own tracks and the status of his new album.
J.Cole – Blow Up
Some new J.Cole, produced by J.Cole. Good stuff right here. Thanks to Lowkey’s spot.

J.Cole – Bun B For President (unfinished)
Amen to that, Cole. Here’s an unfinished J.Cole track that leaked on to twitter just a bit ago as he pays homage to hip hop’s big brother, Bun B. I’ve never heard this, personally, so correct me if this has leaked before. Otherwise, nice afternoon treat right here.

J.Cole – Untitled [unfinished track]
The track isn’t called “Untitled” – it just doesn’t have a title yet, according to Hypetrak. This was produced by Jim Jonsin and is set to be on Cole’s album. We shall see. To download, hit the arrow button on the right.

J.Cole Performs with Freeway in Philly
J. Cole performs ‘Last Call’, then begins ‘Roc the Mic’ and brings Freeway out.Freeway performs ‘Roc the Mic’ and then goes into ‘What We Do.’ This is at the Heineken event, which is touring the country. I believe Wale and J.Cole are performing at the NYC leg in a weekend or two.
J.Cole – Premeditated Murder
Another track from Hollywood Cole – although no word on what this track is exactly from. This is pretty sick, in my opinion. Everything from Cole is a consistently high echelon. What do you guys think about his releases? Thanks to RR.

J.Cole Media Round Up
A number of videos and promo materials dropped over this weekend regarding J.Cole rocking out in London. Above he names three tracks off the album. After the link, you can see some live performance footage and a nice freestyle with the BBC.
illroots Profile Piece/Intv with J.Cole
Via illroots:
“We caught up with J. Cole in Chicago for the Heineken Inspire show at The Ravenswood Event Center. The young and buzzing rapper speaks on the reasoning behind his one-shot video for ‘Who Dat’, capturing a fans emotion through live show, his upcoming album due out later this year and what he hopes listeners will take from it. He also performs ‘Dollar And A Dream’ and ‘Who Dat’.”
“Who Dat” Music Video Trailer
Really looking forward to what is J.Cole’s (really) debut music video. Already liking what I’m seeing by the preview and the full thing drops on Monday.
Cole will be playing a ‘secret’ show tonight at the 40/40 Club in NYC with people of the media and fans who were given some tickets via different outlets (don’t try to work your way in or just show up…they are being strict with the names on the list I’m told). A shame I can’t go, but I have something else going on.
J.Cole – The Last Stretch
Says J.Cole:
June 15th, 2009. A year ago today The Warm Up dropped. I’m taking this moment and appreciating all the love and support that I’ve received from yall. All that love ya’ll gave allowed me to hit the road and perform these songs for you before I even had a single out. It’s wild to me when I show up in places like Houston, Atlanta, Richmond, Ohio, University of Maryland, NYC, so many other cities and schools, and the whole crowd knows every word to every song. Seeing that it’s so early in my career, only 1 single out, that’s a blessing. Thank you.
A year later and people are still getting put on to The Warm Up every day. Slowly but surely ya’ll, just like it was supposed to. The album is coming, your patience is gonna pay off.
Thank you for real.
Ya’ll know I don’t like throwing out too much but fuck it, it’s a special day. A leaked freestyle never hurt nobody.

J.Cole – Higher
Seems like either Tapemasters Inc or Evil Empire always have the unreleased music game on lock. Here, TMI drops this new one from their upcoming Cole mixtape. Really digging the sound of this latest joint:

And make sure to look out for that music video for “Who Dat” dropping soon! Looking forward to that.
Behind the Scenes of J.Cole’s “Who Dat?” Music Video
J.Cole takes it back to North Carolina for his first full fledged music video for “Who Dat?” While the song won’t be a commercial success, it definitely lets you know that Cole is on his way. I would expect a few more commercial singles (by Cole’s standards) before we see a body of work dropping. Additional pics after the link:
