Royce da 5’9″ recently stopped by Shade 45′s “Sway In The Morning” show (with special guest co-host Janell Snowden from VH1). While discussing Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” project, they called up Joell Ortiz to ask about some comments from his Twitter account critiquing the superstar’s collaboration. Royce also discussed the next Slaughterhouse project.

This remix adds Bun B and Tech N9ne in to the mix of Joell’s soulful “Night Train” song. Really liking this combination of MC’s and big up to Tech for getting some quality shine nowadays.

With the help of fellow New York MCs Lil Fame of M.O.P., Joell Ortiz of Slaughterhouse and Freddie Foxxx (aka Bumpy Knuckles), JS-1 released “Reppin’ NY” – the new street single from his upcoming album, No One Cares, which will be released June 21st on Fat Beats Records.

Ludacris gathers the guys of Slaughterhouse for a great placement on the Fast and Furious 5 movie soundtrack. Unfortunately, Claret Jai’s hook is annoyingly awful, but it’s always good to hear some new Slaughterhouse material.

After a year of grinding it out with critically acclaimed performances on The Roots’ Grammy nominated album How I Got Over and the debut full length by the Money Making Jamboys, Atlandelphian emcee STS is closing out his popular Demand More mixtape series with one last installment, the G.O.L.D. Edition.

The tape is a collection of all the original recordings off the entire series and is available for free download at STSIsGold.com. This special set includes a remix of the fan favorite track, The People, featuring Joell Ortiz and Dave Guy of The Dap Kings.
