Kreayshawn Reportedly Already Signs Record Deal
Well that was fast. In a time where it only takes one viral video for you to “break through,” rapper Kreayshawn has supposedly already made that move.
According to Miss Info, the Oakland hipster-ish female rapper has signed a deal with Sony for over a million dollars. It’s a 360 deal, so she’ll be broke in a few years, but for the time being it should be a fun ride.
My opinion on her? I don’t know since I’ve only listened to the one single that everyone else has. I feel like she has the ability to capture a certain audience, though. The kind that reads The Fader and resides in the Lower East Side. The crowd that listens to Santigold and Odd Future. M.I.A. meets Lil B. We shall see.
