Hankering for the best in new music? Well this Fall season is shaping up to be a good one with a long list of hip hop music releases that will set you back in the pocket book, but are guaranteed to elevate your auditory senses.

September 27
J. Cole - Cole World: The Sideline Story (Roc Nation/Columbia)
The clear favorite for this season’s must have releases, expected to sell 217K first week.
9th Wonder – The Wonder Years (It’s A Wonderful World Music)
After years of in the planning, coming soon and to be scheduled stages, it’s finally arrived. With a who’s who in hip hop guesting on this long overdue masterpiece, expect 9th’s production skills to be fully realized on The Wonder Years.
Evidence – Cats & Dogs (Rhymesayers)
This is Evidence’s first appearance on the Rhymesayer’s record label. With the production skills of Alchemist, Khrysis, DJ Premier and more, it would be a mistake not to pick this one up to add to the collection.

DVD Documentary (Sony Pictures Classics)
For those who like moving pictures with their music, I suggest picking up this Michael Rapaport produced documentary. Besides the movie, there should be plenty of extras to keep any A Tribe Called Quest fan happy.

    looking forward to pusha t! i think 50 will drop in the 1st quarter of 2012 and nas will drop right before the summer, but i hope i’m wrong and they come out this year!
