HHU Exclusive Intv: Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino

In one of our best interviews to date, HHU’s Taylor catches up with actor/musician/comedian/renaissance man Donald Glover to talk about a variety of topics. While he’s probably best known for his current role on NBC’s Community, he has a thriving music career on the come up under the alias of Childish Gambino.

Glover talks about the possibility of signing to a major label (under specified circumstances), the importance and influence of Tina Fey in his career and criticism he’s received about his music. Additionally, check out Glover’s reasoning on why hip hop is, metaphorically, a ‘patchwork quilt’ and how music is always changing with the times.  Oh, an thank the Lord he says he hates the word “haters.” My sentiments exactly.
