Wanted to post this full album up here because I’m liking the sound of it. The production on it is top notch and comes from hip hop producers Emile (Kid Cudi), Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Jay-Z). Here’s a cut from Australian crew Hilltop Hoods. This is off their last album, but it’s being circulated to promote their upcoming sixth album, Drinking From the Sun.

I’ve actually heard of Hilltop Hoods in the past and, as far as I know, they’re one of the biggest hip hop groups in Australia (Any Australians who read HHU, feel free to correct me).

The thing about mashups: some work, so don’t. The best ones re-interpret songs and can actually make them better. The Hood Internet takes a stab at this latest one, combining Kavinsky’s “Nightcall” with Wale’s “Chain Music.” Not all that great IMO, but check it for yourselves:
