Aleon Craft – The Stargazing Soundtrack [Mixtape]
So after weeks of joining the Atlanta Stargazing Tour – a GREAT tour which HHU has sponsored throughout these past few months – here is Aleon Craft’s “official” soundtrack. Mixed/mastered by Robert Earl McDaniell lll (of SMKA) and executive produced by the SMKA crew, the project comes complete with reader-approved leaks “Brand New Day,” “Donkey Kong” and “A Different World.” Joining Craft throughout the mixtape are Nappy Roots, Hollyweerd, Mikkey Halsted, Bobby Creekwater, Playboy Tre, Young Scolla, Jarren Benton, Grip Plyaz, Tom P and C# Sharp. In addition to the production of SMKA, the project features beats by Sol Messiah, Doe, and Roundtable Kings.

As far as mixtapes, it’s a pretty good compilation of the newest music from the G.O.O.D. Music crew. Nothing really groundbreaking, but it’s a good look.

K-OS – The Anchorman Mixtape [Mixtape]
This is an awesome surprise I didn’t know was dropping today. Canadian artist K-OS teams up with a bunch of features to make his Anchorman themed mixtape – I guess you can sort of compare it to Wale’s mixtape with the Seinfeld theme.
Regardless, if you don’t know about K-OS, he’s one of my favorite artists from up North and has been on the grind for years. If you need a reference, think of a Kid Cudi-type artist, who mixes rapping with singing & melodic vocals. Can’t wait to listen to this in full. Thanks to the kid DP.
